Socrative: Quick Feedback and Assessment ToolSocrative is a student response system that can be controlled through a free app on the iPad and smart phones. There is also a web-based version. Teachers need to download the teacher app, while students would load the student app. Teachers can create quizzes that are multiple choice, true/ false, or short answer. You can even create exit slips and review games.

Nearpod: A Tool for Interactive Presentataions and Virtual Field Trips
Nearpod presentations can include images, videos, slide shows from Power Point, quizzes and polls, and other items. There is a draw it option that allows students to draw on PDFs and images. Students can also insert their own images onto a slide. Immersive reader works great in Nearpod for emerging or struggling readers, too!

Word CloudsWord Clouds are awesome tools to use with students! Using the free ABCYA word cloud app, students can create word clouds and then save them to their camera roll. HyperDocsIf I had to pick one thing I was most excited about as a whole, it would be HyperDocs. These tools can come in the form of an interactive document such as a word online doc or a google doc or in the form of interactive slides such as Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Keynote. There are literally thousands of pre-made HyperDocs available for teachers to edit and share. A HyperDoc created in Google Docs or Google Slides can be opened in Word or PowerPoint, edited, and shared with students via their student emails.

Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is accessible via the iPad app or desktop application for both Mac and PC. You can also access Teams via Office 365. Teams will allow teachers to schedule virtual meetings with whole classes, as well as small groups. Teachers can also live stream their classrooms and virtually meet with students at home.

Microsoft Stream
Microsoft Stream is an app for the iPad. It can also be accessed via Office 365. On the iPad, Stream allows you to record a live lesson and then upload it to Stream in Office 365. Once there, the video can be shared with students, colleagues, and entire classes. A tab can then be added to Teams so students can stay in one place for all their video / video conferencing needs.
